What is the best LCD 50+ inch television to get for around $1500?
We are looking to spend approximately $1500 on a new LCD television. Preferably, we would like to have a 52″ with 1080p and a high contrast ratio. Any suggestions for specific television brands, models and places to purchase will be much appreciated.
Thank you
I agree with JF , at those sizes you can get a 2009 panasonic plasma 52 inch for a better deal and If you like contrast the best a LCD can do is maybe maybe 30 percent of what a plasma can do the new panasonics are 2 000 000:1 dynamic contrast also 600hz will mean no blurring during moving scenes, at 52 inches even with a 120hz or 240hz LCD you will have annoying blur and it will cost a arm and a leg. The burn in and refill crap about plasma is a myth today when you get a panasonic or other respected brand.
