LCD TV vs. HD TV vs. Plasma TV?

Whats the difference between a Plasma TV, LCD TV, and an HD TV? (the difference in the picture and what it can do~not the technical difference)

HDTV is a term use for any type of tv that can display a resolution of 720p or more ( meaning at least a res of 1280×720 ). Plasma and LCD are 2 different types of tvs. Plasma and LCD produced excellent pictures but Plasma is a little bit better because it can display blacks more accurately than LCD. Plasma typically has better viewing angles than LCD. LCD does have some advantages over Plasma. It can have higher native resolution, consume less power, lighter and not susceptible to burn in.
As a general rule if you want to buy anything less than 37″, get a LCD. If you want to get a 37″ or bigger tv, get a Plasma.
