TV tuner card problem with WMCE (Lumanate Angel Dual tuner) MediaCenter I have a Dell Dimension 9200 with 3GB ram, 512MB nVidia graphics card running with Windows Media Center Edition. I put a Lumanate Angel II Dual TV tuner card in it and installed the latest drivers. It shows up in Hardware in the Control Panel. However, when I launch Media Center, it gives me this error:
Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.Process (3024), Thread (2968) Click OK to terminate the application Click CANCEL to debug the applicationI have the latest video card drivers and I installed nVidia PureVideo Decoder which is WMCE compatible. I also installed Nimo and K-Lite Codec pack and uninstalled them after finding they didn’t work. I have .NET 1, 2, and 3 installed.Also, no video shows up in MediaPortal which is listed as a compatibleprogram for the tv tuner card. Any suggestions?
ave a 5-6 old compaq presario P4, 256 RAM , Intel extreme grphics. 17 inch CRT monitor.
am going to buy a AOC F22 22″ LCD to replace my 17 ” CRT monitor. What are the probable hardware changes I need to do.Also do answer the following 1.Do i need to buy a Graphic Card.If yes please suggest the cheapest ones(I am no gamer,just play movies etc)
2.I also intend to use an external Tv Tuner.Please suggest some Tv tunner.(i have read AOC F22 has a great resolution hence i guess a Tv tuner should be accordingly capable).3. DVI-D or VGA. ??? Is my computer capable of transmitting DVI signal without the graphic card. Do tell me more about DVI
Please help me to setup this monitor and tv tuner on my old PC. Your Answers guyzz….. i would surely like to have multiple opinion on this!
